In addition to our annual Military Appreciation Banquet, the Chamber hosts several military events each year to honor the local representatives of our nation’s armed forces and build a better relationship between MacDill Air Force Base and the Tampa business community. Doing Business With MacDill

Each year the Chamber hosts a workshop that educates attendees on how to conduct business with MacDill Air Force Base and U.S. Special Operations Commands. Attendees can expect to learn What goods and services are in highest demand on base,eligibility requirements for doing business with the U.S. military, and the process by which contracts are awarded.

Flag Officers and Key Commanders Reception

Each year the Chamber honors the senior officers of U.S. Central Command, U.S. Special Operations Command, the 6th Air Mobility Wing, the 927th Air Refueling Wing, Joint Communications Support Element and the U.S. Coast Guard here in Tampa Bay.

Senior Enlisted Reception

Every August the Chamber hosts a reception on base for Senior Enlisted military personnel from all five branches of the service. It's a chance for our members to visit MacDill Air Force Base and thank these individuals in person for their service to our country. Chamber members purchase tickets, which covers their admission and admission for two Senior Enlisted military.

Veteran's Day Celebration

The Chamber presents an annual tribute to those who served in our Nation's military, protecting the freedoms that we cherish. The event includes remarks by local military and government leaders as well as recognition of those from Hillsborough County who have given the ultimate sacrifice defending our country. The event takes place outdoors at Joe Chillura Courthouse Square and lunch is provided afterward to everyone who attends.
