BUSINESS OWNERS ROUNDTABLE
Are you a small business owner? Do you sometimes find yourself struggling with issues, and realize you have no support network to turn to for advice? Then the Business Owners' Roundtable is the support you are looking for.
The Business Owners' Roundtable provides owners, partners and decision-makers for small businesses, or presidents or executive directors of non-profit organizations the opportunity to hear a short presentation on a topic of interest, as identified in membership surveys. The presentation is followed by roundtable discussions, giving participants a chance to discuss the topic with their peers and at the same time develop a support network.
Roundtables can be a valuable business tool or an enjoyable social experience.
One regular participant has been quoted as saying, "Being involved in this program helps me and my business. It gives me the opportunity to bounce ideas off others who understand what it is like to own their own business and to share my ideas and network with other entrepreneurs."
These programs are open to all Chamber members. Registration fees are included in the membership dues for FIT Two members.
Past programs have included:
- Plan Your Work and Work Your Plan - A Small Business Success Story
- Women/Minority Business Certification - Are You Eligible?
- You Can Lead, but Will Anyone Follow?
- Leveraging Technology to Build better Customer Relationships
In an effort to match speakers with topics that our members would like to hear about, we conduct surveys throughout the year that determine which topics best fit the needs and requests of our members. We are always looking for experienced presenters.
