On Friday, September 25th at the Tampa Convention Center, the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce will host the 29th Annual Small Business of the Year Awards Banquet. This event highlights the impact of small business on our community and recognizes the best of the best in small business.
At this event an award is given to small businesses in three categories - grouped by number of employees. Companies are judged based on financial success, community involvement and ethical business practices. There is also an award for Outstanding Small Business Leader of the Year. Some past winners of both awards include: The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc., Outback Steakhouse, Magnetic, Wright’s Gourmet House and Holly Tomlin of Tomlin Staffing.
