The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 2010 Small Business of the Year Awards! The SBOY Awards annually pay tribute to businesses with fewer than 250 employees. This year’s awards will be distributed at the SBOY Awards Ceremony on Friday, September 24, 2010 at the Tampa Convention Center.

Nominations can be submitted for the 2010 Outstanding Business Leader of the Year and the 2010 Small Business of the Year Award. Companies must be headquartered in Hillsborough County and have done business here for the last three years. The three categories for the Small Business of the Year Award are: 

• 5-20 employees
• 21-50 employees
• 21-250 employees
