The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce's Small Business of the Year (SBOY) Awards annually pays tribute to businesses with fewer than 250 employees. Statistics show that 99 percent of businesses in our community are small businesses. As a vital piece of Tampa Bay’s economic foundation, these companies are most definitely worth celebrating. The awards will be presented at the SBOY banquet on Friday, September 25, 2010 at the Tampa Convention Center.
NOW ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR SBOY 2010! The Chamber is now accepting nominations for the 2010 Small Business of the Year Awards. Nominations can be submitted for the 2009 Outstanding Business Leader of the Year and the 2010 Small Business of the Year Award. The three categories for the Small Business of the Year Award are:
- 5-20 employees
- 21-50 employees
- 21-250 employees
