THE PRIVILEGES OF MEMBERSHIP

EXPOSURE

Your business will be seen by thousands of prospects who will view your listing in the Chamber's Online Business Directory and the Annual Chamber Membership Directory. Both listings are included in your membership dues. You'll also receive promotion through our business publications, members-only referral program, business expos and our prestigious Small Business of the Year Awards program for companies with fewer than 250 employees.

NETWORKING
Bank of America Building
The Chamber offers more than 100 events and programs to help you expand your business contacts among vendors and prospects. In fact, our Annual Meeting attracts more than 1,500 people. Other networking opportunities include Business After Hours, the Ambassador Program, membership lunches, formal networking sessions, military events and participation in golf and fishing tournaments. You can also expand your exposure in the business community by sponsoring Chamber events and programs.

ACCESS

For most businesses, access to information and services is a key to success. That's why the Chamber offers so many programs to help your business run more efficiently.

You'll have the ability to access important demographic and economic profiles for marketing planning; comprehensive mailing, sales lead and media lists; international trade opportunities; and business development through seminars and workshops.

For Chamber members, information comes in many forms. eView is the Chamber's monthly electronic newsletter. Inside View is our award-winning print publication delivered quarterly. This web site also contains an abundance of information: from upcoming events and seminars, to committee activities and small business resources, to position papers and the legislative agenda, to demographic statistics and information for companies looking to relocate or expand.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Since 1954, the Chamber's economic development department, the Committee of One Hundred has been committed to enhancing and diversifying our economy, evolving our employment opportunities, increasing our tax base and sustaining our quality of life.

The Committee of One Hundred is a public/private partnership with Hillsborough County, Tampa, Temple Terrace, Plant City and private investors brought together by our interest in growing our economic base. The private investors are Chamber members who are committed to the long-term prosperity of our community.

Our investments allow us to recruit quality new businesses to Tampa and Hillsborough County, with a focus on growing targeted industry clusters such as bioscience, corporate headquarters, manufacturing and distribution, and financial services. They also allow us to promote international trade opportunities.

INVOLVEMENT

As a member of the Chamber, you'll be part of the collective influence that's shaping Tampa and all of Hillsborough County. You can take part in membership surveys and serve on committees specific to your interests such as sports, military, cultural affairs, public policy, small business, technology and redevelopment.

You'll also be giving back to the community and improving the quality of life by influencing issues like transportation, the arts, workforce, education and community development. By joining forces, we all have the opportunity to help shape the policies that affect our entire region. We are stronger, together.
