2009 WOMEN'S SERIES LUNCHEON, MERCEDES WALTON
Mercedes Walton is the Director and Chairman of the Board of Cryo-Cell International, Inc., the largest family cord blood bank. Prior to joining Cryo-Cell, Ms. Walton held executive positions at Ralston Hill Consulting LLC, Applied Digital Solutions, Inc. and AT&T. She holds a BA degree from Smith College and Master’s degrees from Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Ms. Walton has served on the Board of Directors of Norstan, Inc. and currently serves on the Board of Directors for SAVVIS, Inc.
Ms. Walton’s presentation will highlight her career path to becoming the Director of an innovative and fast-growing company. She will also reflect on her professional experiences, discuss the expectations of a service provider, and offer tips for achieving career success.
